I send this message with love and peace, dear one and pray that you are well and rested after the festive period.
I wanted to share a little video I made, following these conversations that I seem to be having all the time now… I seem to spend a lot of time reassuring others that their inner work is the most relevant contribution they can make at this time.
We are in an age where social media is a double-edged sword – one one hand, we can be connected with what is happening all around the world, instantly and be empowered to know what our brothers and sisters are doing and experiencing. On the other hand, it can be all consuming, in many different ways, and watching how our own internal system is reacting to what we are seeing is so important.
It’s about having a radical state of presence and intimacy with our own internal system of parts so that we can tend to what is arising.
The last few months in Gaza has been challenging to watch for my parts. At first, my parts very angry about what was happening, and I had to do a lot of work to clear that and come into a place of compassion. I still have parts that I am continually working on, that feel the injustice and pain, and have to really be with those parts, so that when I am sharing posts or making commentary, its coming from Self, holding and speaking for parts, rather than projecting their burdens out onto the world.
When we are knowingly perpetuating our own suffering due to the despair and anger our parts feel about violence arising on this Earth – we are staying in Victim Consciousness. And when we stay here, it’s adding to the soup that we are all in. The question is…
WHAT WORLD DO WE WANT TO CREATE?
If it’s one of peace and joy, then we have to look inside and find those parts of us that are not in that place and work on them. Because we are simply a fractal of the whole.
Our individual consciousness is creating the collective consciousness. What is arising “out there” is simply a symptom of what’s going on inside us.
I made this video that talks about the greatest contribution we can make at this time.
Eventually all will come into the light.
